Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Welcome to HealthcareMagic!

I read carefully your query and understand your concerns because seeing blood is semen can be scaring but usually it is benign and resolves in its own.

The presence of blood in semen is called hematospermia.
The sperm makes a long route from prostate gland to a series of tubes to the urethra for ejaculation.A number of causes can break blood vessels along this route.
Most common causes include:
-Traumain your genital area.
-Vigorous intercourse
-Infections of genito-urinary tract. In this case you also would have other signs or symptoms like pain ,fever, discharge from urethra, pain during urination, blood in urine etc.
-Prostatitis (inflammation of prostate gland ).In this case you would have fever, pain
-Prostate cancer is a rare cause and it is taken in consideration in men over 40 years old when the hematospermia persist.

In a large number of cases no specific cause is found for the presence of blood in semen.

Since you don't have any other symptoms (fever, pain during urination or ejaculation ,blood in urine etc) you don't need to worry .Most likely it is caused by a broken blood vessel during intercourse.
You can just observe it for some days.If it is possible avoid masturbation and intercourse for some days so you can give time for the broken vessel to heal.
If the blood in semen persist more then 1-2 week ,you may need to consult a physician and get examined just to be sure.
Sometimes it may take even 1 month to go away ,so you don't need to worry if it persist.
You may need to do some tests including urinalysis and pelvic ultrasound.

Hope it was of help.
Let me know if you have any other questions or doubts to clarify.I will be happy to assist you further.
