Brief Answer:
Respiratory tract infection

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for the query

It is normal to have slight bloody sputum when there is an active inflammation of the respiratory tract. However to be sure I need a few more information

1. Have noticed loss of weight recentyl? If yes how much?
2. Have you been coughing more than usual for more than 3 weeks now
3. Please mention the antibiotics you were on? Was it prescribed by a doctor or over the counter?
4. Did you have fever?
5. Please mention all the medications are on currently
6. Was any blood tests or chest x ray done recently

Please get back to me, I am awaiting your reply

Brief Answer:
Bronchitis

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for the query

It looks like you are suffering from a second round of bronchitis and you have recevied the right treatment with antibiotics and bronchodialtor spray.

Here are my suggestions to you

1. Please try to stop smoking as soon as possible. Recurrent bronchitis is one of the first signs of lung damage
2. I strongly recommend that you get yourself vaccinated for pneumococcal and influenza. Meet your doctor for the vaccination
3. Avoid cold beverages and cold food items
4. Avoid milk and milk products until you are better
5. Keep yourself warm at all times

I do not thing blood stained sputum which is becoming lesser is anything to worry about however if it persists beyond three weeks then please get a chest x ray done

I hope I was of help, if you have further queries please get back to me

Regards
