What Causes Blood In Stool And Pain During Defecation?

stop taking Pepto bismol..
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX, welcome to HCM,
I've gone through your query and understand your concern,
First of all, please stop straining during passing motion, as it's one of the most common cause for rectal muscular spasm, irritation and in prolonged scenario even fissure and/ hemorrhoids..
Since the stool isn't hard, it should not cause trouble.. start taking Sit'Z bath with XXXXXXX warm water and 2-3 TSF of salt twice daily, it'll help you..(perhaps check out for the training video in Youtube)..
Start drinking a lot water, hydration is extremely important..
You need to have high fiber containing foods which will help in bulk formation of the stool, take lot of fresh green leafy vegetables, salads in your daily diet..
Avoid having processed foods(pizza, burger etc.) and start having whole grain foods..
Another important factor is the Pepto Bismol, which contains Bismuth subsalicylate which is related to aspirin and can cause bleeding tendencies over frequent usage, please stop it..don't take it..
You need to start taking Cap PANTOPRAZOLE 40mg Once Daily 20-30 min prior to breakfast for next 15 days and observe how you stay (please get the necessary prescription from your local doctor)..
Try to Fix a time for wash-room (eg. in morning after getting up from bed after having a large glass of water and few free hand exercises and stretching, practice this, it'll help you to a great extent)..
First of all, follow all these advises for the next 5-7 days, and if you still notice any such bloody stool, then please schedule an appointment with a Proctologist for a clinical evaluation to look out for any underlying hemorrhoids/ fissure..
Do let me know how you stay in the due course..
Take Care
Kind Regards
