What Causes Blood In Stool?

See a Surgeon to rule out Hemorrhoids or Fissure
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I am not sure what medical condition you are referring too. But yes, blood dropping into the water can happen and the commonest cause of bleeding per rectum is Hemorrhoids or Fissure-in-ano. If there is pain while passing stools then it is likely to be a fissure. If not then Hemorrhoids. Other than these causes specially at your age, causes like polyps and growths should be ruled out.
Therefore, I suggest you see a Surgeon who can examine you. If its one of the first two causes then a normal rectal examination by finger would be able to diagnose it. If that is normal then it would be better to get a Proctoscopy or Sigmoidoscopy done to look for other causes. This will be done by inserting a small scope and visualising the mucosa inside.
They are all treatable so do not worry. And try to keep your stools soft and light with mild laxatives like Senna or Isabgol powder at night.
Take care.
