What Causes Blood In Stool?
Question: I've had small amounts of blood in my stool for the past few weeks...not every day but once in a while, and there feels like a very dull pain on my left side belly region...could be in my intestines. The pain isn't always present, I had a blood test 2 years ago and there was no trace of cancer, would like to know what might be causing these symptoms
Brief Answer:
Colonoscopy is advised to do..
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I read carefully all your concerns and I can say as follows :
You are reporting to have had blood in stools in recent weeks.
I review your photo and I can say that it seems to be related with last part of large bowel (rectum).
The most popular cause of your symptoms is anal hemorrhoids.
Otherwise If I were your treating doctor I would strongly suggest to do colonoscopy to better evaluate large bowel issues.
Meantime I would suggest to avoid constipation and use Preparation H cream to improve your symptoms.
Hope it was helpful to you

Dear Dr. Klerida
I want to thank you so very much for your diagnosis. Your diagnosis has taken a great weight off my shoulders and has brought me great comfort.
For the past few weeks I was too stubborn to seek medical help because I was too afraid, but I will now take your advice and to make an appointment with my doctor right away and show him you’re response, and suggest a colonoscopy be done for the large intestines.
Again, I want to thank you so very much for your help.
