What Causes Blood In Stools?

Question: I pooped today this morning and it was a little lose but normal I pooped 3 hours later in which was normal color and all but one side had streaks of blood what could this be. I lifted a lot of mulch yesterday with a shovel and wheel barrel
Brief Answer:
Probably hemorrhoids
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
streaks of blood on the stool are usually caused by hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids are veins in the rectum that may get engorged and loose. Constipated patients are more commonly affected. Unless you have a heavy history of colon cancer in your family or other symptoms not mentioned in your description, you should not worry.
Of course you've got to confirm the diagnosis by visiting your doctor. An endoscopy of the lower part of the colon might be needed to exclude other causes.
I can't find any connection between the work you've done and the blood streaks. If you have other symptoms, please inform me about them.
I hope I've helped!
Kind Regards!

I have no other history my dad gets hemriids a lot it didn't hurt when I used the restroom I was constipated 2 days ago
Brief Answer:
Hemorrhoids is the most likely diagnosis
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the input!
All the information you've provided, increases the likelihood of hemorrhoid bleeding. The external hemorrhoids can be painful but then internal ones are painless. Sometimes they prolapse outside the anus and you can see (with a mirror) or touch them.
Remember to visit your doctor for confirmation. Until then try to increase the fiber content in your diet, drink enough water, be physically active and also try to go to the toilet on a specific time. This will help your bowels produce high volume but soft stool which won't injure your anus.
Kind Regards!

Thanks sir I also worry about cancer a lot but have no family history at all would this lower my chances of ever getting it
Brief Answer:
Yes
Detailed Answer:
You're welcome!
There are some familial conditions that raise the possibility of colon cancer but since you have no family history you shouldn't worry about them. There are also sporadic cases of colon cancer at an early age but these are too rare to seriously consider.
An endoscopy of the rectum (or descending colon) should suffice to exclude such a possibility.
Kind Regards!

Also when I suck the back of my throat and spit it's tinted red Like blood could this be sinuses?
Brief Answer:
you need an ENT assessment
Detailed Answer:
Spitting blood is not normal, although it may happen sometimes. An ENT specialist assessment is needed to exclude more serious conditions. Usually this nose bleeding caused by a forceful sucking movement.

I have bad sinuses and when I spit the blood I put a paper towel up my nose and it comes out with a little blood on the towel
Brief Answer:
This is probably due to the inflammation and mechanical irritation
Detailed Answer:
Inflammation and mechanical irritation (by forceful movements - either blowing or sucking) may cause a little bleeding. This is normal if it happens sometimes. If this is a constant finding then you should definitely seek the opinion of an ENT specialist, just to exclude the more serious possibilities.
Kind Regards!
