What Causes Blood In The Urine And Rectum With Liquid In The Lower Lungs?

Question: Recently diagnosed with A fib and aortic stenosis. Liquid also found in lower lungs. I am 73 but in excellent health. Have no clue why one week I'm running three miles, lifting, playing golf, and just weeks later two doctors have prescribed doxycycline, metoprolol, prednisone, and xarelto (cardiologist). Four days later, I have blood in my urine and rectal bleeding. Is cure worse than the problem? Wouldn't a Bayer 325 do the trick? I understand the doxycycline, but I no longer seem to have any symptoms, and the cardiologist said I could resume normal activities. I hate taking drugs, especially ones with a lifetime duration attached to them.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Regarding your concern, I would explain that bleeding issues seem to be related to Xarelto. Aortic stenosis, in addition, is a predisposing condition for excess bleeding.
You should stop this drug from therapy and discuss with your prescribing doctor on this issue.
Hope I have answered your query.
Take care
