What Causes Blood In Urine And Bleeding Gums With Family History Of Liver Cancer?
Hi and welcome to HCM
Detailed Answer:
It doesnt neccessary mean that you are anaemic. If you dont have other symptoms such as dyspnea, fatigue, paleness then anemia isnt likely to cause your symptoms. Your symptoms could indicate some heamtologic disorders such as trombocytopenia or coagulopathy but also it can be seen in healthy people. Of course blood in stool should be evaluated.
Some serious diagnoses are not common in your age,but you should do certain tets to rule out some more serious conditions such as colon tumor or hematologic maliganncies. at this point you should do basic blood test to verify is there anemia or trombocytopenia. also you need to see proctologist who can investigate your stool color with endoscopy. If low hemoglobin and RBC is found you should take iron supplements and iron rich food, and B vitamins.
Wish you good health. Feel free to ask. Regards

Detailed Answer:
anemia may be related with increased infection risk, but this shouldnt be significant. infections are related to white blood count. But anemia, iron and vitamin defficiency can lead to immune system weakening and it could cause skin and respiratory problems that you are describing. If you are tired and pale you may be anemic, but only lab tests can confirm this. You should check rbc and iron levels. It is also possible that too excessive periods lead to anemia.
