Brief Answer:
No, blood is not normal after an infection has been treated.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thank you for using HCM to post your health query.

I read your question carefully.

As I understand it you have been taking Cipro for some time now (if you have been home since 4/3), right?

So, if your treatment has finished, or you are almost finishing it, you normally should not have blood in the urine. You should talk with your doctors about it, because they should investigate which is the cause of the blood. Of course, it will depend on the amount of the blood (sometimes the strips can be oversensitive and you need to confirm the presence of blood with a urine Routine and Microscopy).

Some causes of blood can be kidney stones, or in your age masses/tumors/lesions in the urinary tract. To diagnose or rule that out, you will need to do several tests.

Hope this is helpful.
Let me know if you need more clarifications.
