What Causes Blood In Urine?
no problem
Detailed Answer:
hi
pink urine can be due to blood in the urine which is the most common cause. I feel that the concoction which you have been taking also should be considered as the cause though its not listed among the causes. There are several rare causes of pink urine. But before labelling " some thing" as the cause, you need to rule out the common and most frequent causes. You better get the cystoscopic test etc as advised by the urologist and then stop the substances which you have been taking since a long time. After wards, if the occurrence of pink urine subsides, reintroduce the substances one after the another gradually over a period of one week ( one at a time) and see the color change in urine so that you can come toa conclusion.
The color of the urine is mostly decided by the substances in the urine which are imparted by the diet/ substances which we take. So, be assured that the pink color is mostly innocuous and might not be related to any major disease

Blood in the urine can be gross ( which is seen) and microscopic ( only see under the microscope). As per your hisotiry, it was only microscopic.
Did you see blood in your urine ever? Did you get fever with chills ?
The most common cause of blood in urine is urinary tract infection. You need to get complete urine examination to see if those RBCs are dysmorphic or of normal shape. It differentiates the bleeding from kidney proper versus from the tract of urinary passage.
The stones need not be seen when you check in the ultrasound. It can be still there and makes scratches in the tract leading to blood in the urine and gets passed off by the time you check it up. High Uric acid can cause both I e. a stone and a pink urine. You need to get few tests related to this

Detailed Answer:
High uric acid content of urine precipitates at a certain PH of the urine which imparts a pink color to the urine. It doesn't depend on the value of uric acid in the blood alone and it happens in certain critical situation albeit transiently. I personally feel that the concoction of citric acid, vinegar etc is the one causing it and try to follow the method which I suggested.
What was the amount blood in urine i.e. no of red blood cells etc?
Were they dysmorphic and if so what percent of them are dysmorphic?

Detailed Answer:
A small stone of 1 cm is worth removal. It can be removed through a procedure or by ESWL depending on the location of the stone. A stone can come down on its way and may get stuck in the ureter. But, you don't need to worry as its is 1 cm and might get stuck much above and wont be much painful. The urologist will plan for removal afterwards once the location and size etc are confirmed by other investigations. You can get the " stone analysis " later to find out the the composition of the stone so that you can be better advised medically to prevent the recurrence of such a stone.
Removal required
Detailed Answer:
A stone of 1 cm will stuck in the tract above the ureter due to narrower path and it requires removal as depending on the location of the stone.
If stuck for longer time can damage the surrounding tissues due to recurrent trauma and can also obstruct the tract producing hydronephrosis(swelling of the kidney), which if prolonged can reduce the kidney filtering capacities.
So, I advise you to see an Urologist at the earliest and get the stone removed.
