What Causes Blood In Urine?

Question: My husband is 68 years old and has blood in his urine. He is an avid and strong tennis player and plays daily. Could his athletic activities cause the blood in his urine?
Brief Answer:
Need workup likely uti
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking
I read your question and I understand your concern. No athletic activity is strong and Strenuous enough to cause hematuria. It is always a pathology underneath. A good start will be a routine urine exam and cytology followed by urodynamic prostate exam and cystoscopy if need be.
Likely possibility is a UTI or a prostate problem. Painful hematuria is uti and painless is always a suspicious one.
Plenty of fluids and garlic intake with cranberry juices will help.
I hope it helps. take good care of yourself and don't forget to close the discussion please.
