Question: I have been urinating blood with sizeable strands of coagulated blood since
About 1:30 pm thus afternoon. It is ongoing and always causes me mild pain
That keeps me running to the toilet. The only thing I have done is had a glass
of water with two tbsp og apple cider vinegar which stopped the hematuria
When I experienced 2 bouts of this problem within a couple of weks 7 months ago.
My urologist put me on an antibiotic the first occasion and after the second he inserted an instrument with camera into my penis and took pictures and found no evudebce of cancer. I took my daily 7.5 gems.Coumadin
About an hour ago. Your thoughts please.

Brief Answer:
You seem to have Enlarged Prostate

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for query .

Based on the facts that you have posted hematuria that you have is most likely due to Benign Enlargement of Prostate which is common at this age .

The bleeding is usually due to rupture of a superficial vein in the surface of enlarged prostate which stops spontaneously .

I shall be happy if you can post me more details to help me in making precise comments
1) Was your Ultrasound Scanning of abdomen done by your Urologist and if so what were the findings ?
2) Are you taking any blood thinner medications like Aspirin ?

I would suggest to you to consult your Urologist again for revaluation .

Till the start taking Cefexime twice daily along with Tomsulosin and Dutasteride once daily .

Further treatment would be decided by your Urologist based on clinical ,digital rectal examination and relevant tests .

Ensure to drink more water .

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.
