Brief Answer:
Altered blood in vomit and stool.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for using Healthcare Magic. The most likely reason for you having these symptoms is due to there being some blood in your vomit and stool. The excess alcohol will have caused some inflammation of your stomach lining. This will cause some bleeding into your stomach. Blood in the stomach is changed by the stomach juices to a black colour. This will then be seen in your vomit or stool.
This is not serious and will disappear in a day or two. You do not need any specific treatment if you now feel well. If you are suffering any stomach pains then this is likely to be due to the inflammation. In this case an antacid will help.
I hope you feel well soon. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Regards,
Dr K A Pottinger
