What Causes Bluish-purple Discoloration In The Navel Region And Angiomas On The Abdomen And Arms?
Question: i have very recently developed some blue/purple discoloration in my belly button, and maybe a little swelling but not real noticable. it does not hurt. around the same time i have developed some small cherry angiomas on my stomach and a few on my arms. i am 37.

Based on the image you uploaded, the bluish tinge is present but there is no gross discoloration. The area should be cleaned with a clean cotton bud with petroleum jelly applied at the tip to look for possible impacted particles. To be on the safe side an ultrasound of the abdomen-pelvis can be advised along with hepatitis profile and liver enzymes to rule out the possibility of liver disease, in consultation with your doctor.
