Brief Answer:
Signs of high blood sugar most likely

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,

I can understand your concern. Weak knees, sleepiness, blurred vision, disorientation, are all symptoms of high blood sugar. I am assuming that his blood sugar is only being measured once or twice per day after having taken the medicine, and this might be the reason why they seem normal.

I'd suggest you measure his glycemic levels first thing in the morning, prior to breakfast, right after the breakfast and two hours after meals. Write the results down and repeat this for 3 days and take the notes to his doctor, as he might need a medication adjustment. Also, do a glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1C).

I would also advise you do a thyroid hormone level test to see if his thyroid gland is under active.

I hope this helps. If you have any further questions I'd be happy to answer them.

Wishing him good health and all the best.
Regards
