What Causes Body Ache, Fever, Headache, Weakness, Fatigue, Dizziness And Nausea?

I am a 31 years old woman. It have been 6 days now and I've been experiencing this uncomfortable situation. I suspected it was a flu or cold at first but now, I thought it will pass as it is the flu season in here, My symptoms are: body ache, feverish, headaches, weakness, tired, dizziness, nausea, dry nose, congested nose, my left nostril feels a tiny bit swollen, facial pain around the eyes and the temples. It is extremely difficult to sleep because my nose is congested and very dry.
On day 3 I experienced nausea and fairly strong headaches that lasted for 3 days. When I blew my nose in the morning after waking up I felt something unusual, I saw this big corn flake looking booger, it was dry, sticky and crusty mixed with bright blood. This happen to me around 5-7 times so far.
I tried paracetamol and ibuprofen and nothing seems to help. I suspected that the birth control pills had something to do with some of my symptoms so I discontinued using them on day 5.
It is day 6 and I still feel unwell, my body is super achy, nose is dry, I still see bright blood when I blow my nose, I still blow these unusual big big crusty boogers, body aches, mild headaches, feverish, weakness, etc..

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
By your history and description, possibility of either sinusitis or severe rhinitis is more.
Both of them can be seen in deviated nasal septum (DNS).
Flu like viral infection is actually causes worsening of inflammation in your nose and this in turn causes sinusitis and allergic rhinitis.
So better to consult ENT doctor and get done endoscopic examination of nose.
You may need surgical correction of DNS.
At present start following things.
1. Steam inhalation 4-5 times a day.
2. Broad spectrum antibiotic like levofloxacin or Azithromycin.
3. Intranasal spray containing steroids (Fluticasone).
Please let me know

2. Have you ever consulted ENT doctor?

regarding your questions:
1. Do you have any allergy? no
2. Have you ever consulted ENT doctor? yes, I was told to really consider the septum correction surgery.
My appointment is on Monday morning, that seems like a long wait specially with what I am experiencing. I can't put my hands on an antibiotics until Monday. The facial pressure is really annoying along with the post nasal drip.
Thanks again!
