Question: I AM A HEART PATIENT
RECENTLY I CUT MY FINGER AND HAD A LOT OF BLOOD WHICH IS NORMAL BECAUSE I TAKE PLAVIX
MY WIFE WAS WITH ME AND SHE SAID I PASSED OUT AND WAS JERKING AND NON RESPONSIVE FOR ABOUT 2 MINUTES. MY QUESTION IS SHOULD I CONTACT MY HEART DOCTOR

Hi,

If you were jerking and then passed out, it means you had an epileptic attack, which can be due to an intracranial bleed or an arrthythmia. And for this two possibilities, i would suggest that you see your doctor to rule out these, as these are serious conditions. The doctor may run some tests on you to find a reason for the passing out.

I am not trying to frighten you, I am just cautioning you that you should not ignore these signs especially if you are on Plavix.
