It is a sign of infection.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
First and foremost important thing in pregnancy is to see whether her baby is fine or not.
As per your history it is quite clear that she might got some intestinal infection.( as such mozzarella cheese which present in pizza not usually harmful but person to person variation is always be there)
But before reaching in any conclusion I want to ask you whether she is having vomiting, diarrhoea and fever or not?
Please revert back to me with your symptoms till the time she can follow these advises.
1) Drink a plenty of fluids orally( can take lime in it or electrolyte powder).
2) Eat soft diet
3) Can take probiotics
4) Not eat outside food.
5) Avoid non- veg, spicy and oily food.
I am not prescribing any antibiotic at this stage, but if possible get her blood pressure checked and blood sugar also.
If symptoms not resolved in few days then you should consult your treating doctor and get your examination and investigation done.
I think I have answered your query if you have further questions I will be happy to help you.
