Brief Answer:
How much thyroid supplements do you take daily?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this body temperature fluctuations that you have reported for the past 6months. My suspicion is that hormonal imbalance or an over medication of your thyroid supplements could be responsible for this. However, I will like to go wit simple things first. How much medication do you take daily and what others drugs are you on? How do you take this medication as it may affect the amount absorbed and cause symptoms suggestive of over medication. I will also like to know if there has been any recent changes in the dose of your medications.

I will like to hear from you and we would be considering other possibilities should need be. Would be right here to respond to you as soon as the responses come in.

Thanks!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this follow up precision.

Please, when was the last time your thyroid functions were checked. If they have not been checked since you started with these new symptoms, please get at least the TSH checked for us to know whether the dosage is okay or too much.
Depending on what this turns out to be, further avenues would be considered like i mentioned before. Let m know what you think about this.

I hope this helps.

Dr., I have a f/u appt with my primary physician in 2 weeks. I get labs done the week before. I will ask to have thyroid function test done at this time. Thank you very much for the information and suggestion. Hopefully the labs will give us an answer.
