What Causes Body Tremors After Discontinuing Prednisone?

Question: I was on prednisone 20 mg twice a day for two weeks yesterday I took last half of pill... the whole time I was touchy and trembling .. I thought it would stop but Im still that way today
Brief Answer:
Adrenal insufficiency unlikely
Detailed Answer:
Generally when prednisone is taken, even in reasonably high doses as was the case with you, for a period of less than 3 weeks (and then stopped) it does not result in this problem called adrenal insufficiency.
When I see someone like you in my practice, I order the following tests in addition to a thorough physical examination:
CBC
CMP
TSH
Free T4
HbA1c
25 hydroxy Vitamin D
I strongly suggest you seek prompt medical attention to have your vital signs (blood pressure and pulse, for example) measured to rule out any worrisome problem.
