What Causes Bowel Movements After Meals In A Patient On Dialysis?

Question: My husband is 51 and has end stage renal disease as a result of uncontrolled blood pressure (high) for many years. He is on dialysis 3 x week. He also has a problem where anything he eats, breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a peach at bedtime makes him have to go to the restroom within 20 -30 minutes of eating and he can identify what he just ate in his stool . What is this and how serious is it?
Brief Answer:
Give him tablet loperamide
