
What Causes Breathing Difficulty And Lethargy After Two Weeks Of Skiing?

Question: I've been skiing for the last two weeks at altitude without a problem. Three days ago I became lethargic and unable to breath normally. I been in bed ever since but unable to sleep as I'm struggling to catch my breath

Theres no chest pain but i do have a dry rasping cough that is sometimes very uncomfortable on my lungs, There is virtually no mucus. It did start with a lot of muscle aches which has now disappeared.Over the past couple of hours there is some relief with my breathing which is not so restricted.
