What Causes Brown Colored Spit In The Morning Time?

Question: I have brown spit in the morning since yesterday. Yesterday it was more fresh blood & a lot. Today it was brown. I also smoked marijuana first time after years. Coz I was having a weird unpleasant headache right above my right ear & temple ! I don't smoke or drink! Plz advice thanks

I am so sorry to hear about this brown spit. Unless it repeats itself again, there is no reason to get worried. I will suggest that you only monitor at this time. We will follow through and make further decisions based on whether this continues or not. Keep me posted on the progress of this. However, brown spit is often from a minor oral injury that causes bleeding. Resolution in most cases is spontaneous.
