What Causes Brown Discharge After Periods?

Question: I have an IUD inserted about a month and half ago. I got my period last week on Tuesday and it seems to have ended on Tuesday of this week. I had unprotected sex on Wednesday and now I am having a browm discharge. There is no odor, just a brown discharge. What could this be?

1. The bleeding you are seeing now as brownish discharge is just remaining part of your period.

2. Some small endometrial tissue remained during menses comes out like this.

3. This is nothing to do with pregnancy or intercourse. This is not related to IUD also.
