I noticed it a while ago now, perhaps a year or so, but stupidly thought it would be nothing to worry about. It does not hurt, itch or bleed. It is on the arch of the sole of my foot in the centre on the bone. It has not grown bigger. It has always had a broken edge, like a puncture mark & always been one colour. Ive noticed the skin around it is becoming slightly discoloured though.

Hello again.
Thank you for the information and the picture provided. The brown mark seems to be a mole.
The fact that it hasn't changed in dimensions and color in some time it's a good sign.
I would suggest just to observe it and the next time you see your doctor get it checked, just to put your mind at ease.It doesn't seem to be of concern but a closer evaluation with a dermatoscope will exclude a malign lesion. You don't need to worry ,just keep an eye in it.If it changes in dimensions ,uniformity or pigment , you need to see a Dermatologist.
Take care.
