What Causes Brownish Vaginal Discharge Inspite Of Being On Birth Control?
Question: Im a woman.. is brown discharge something i need to be worried about? My last pap was 2 months ago (everythjng was fine) and im in a long term relationship. Im on birth control my last period was 8 days ago. I recently started working out alot. Just worried it may be something to be concerned about. Never happened before

The brown discharge that you are having now could be due to the extreme workout, mild hormonal imbalance or a vaginal infection. This is not worrisome if it is not associated with pain or an abnormal smelly discharge. You can self monitor it for a few days and reduce the amount of exercise and see if it subsides on its own. In case it is persists for more than a week then do consult your gynecologist. Continue taking your birth control pill.

Ok thank you. What kind of infection are you referring to if it were to be that. I dont believe there is any smelly discharge!
