What Causes Brownish Vaginal Discharge?
need some details; discharge may be normal.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HCM.
I can understand your concerns.
Can you please provide some more details:
1. Have you had similar brown discharge before periods earlier also?
2. Are there any accompanying symptoms like pain in lower abdomen, itching, burning micturition, rashes?
Brown discharge suggests old blood in uterus.
Mostly it is normal.
In your case, I think the reason is your ipill.
It can cause hormonal imbalance.
You have had withdrawal bleeding earlier.
May be at that time, the endometrial cells were not entirely expelled – “old” endometrial cells can leave uterus during next period and usually appear as brown discharge before period.
This is not a reason to worry.
Hope this helps.
Waiting for your details.
Thanks.
I have no other accompanying symptoms..only the usual premenstrual bloating and breast tenderness. I usually do have some white discharge before my period. But I've never had brown discharge like this before. There is absolutely NO pain itching or anything unusual otherwise. And the discharge is only a teaspoonful everyday. And it increases slightly after heavy exercise. So should I expect my period in the next week or so?
I would also like to mention my periods are quite irregular..
can expect periods in next week or so.

You are welcome :)
With all these details, I think there is no need to worry. The discharge is normal.
You should get your periods in next few days since you are already having premenstrual symptoms.
Hope this helps.

no need to worry; wait for periods
Detailed Answer:
Hello again.
You are most welcome.
I do not think you should worry.
As there are no other accompanying symptoms, you should wait for your periods till 30th april (that is around week after expected date).
If you do not get your periods by then, then you can consult your gynecologist for examination.
Hope this helps.
Feel free to discuss further.
