What Causes Bruising In The Socket Next To The Nose?
Question: Unexplained bruising around right socket concentrated next to nose; what possible causes exist?
Brief Answer:
Traumatic or drug induced.
Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for your query.
Bruising in the socket next to the nose can be because of 3 reasons.
1. Traumatic.
2. Drug induced by any anticoagulant medications.
3. Ecchymosis.
If I were your treating doctor, I would have first clinically examined you, confirmed my diagnosis and would asked for blood work, specifically bleeding time, clotting time, platelet count, prothrombin time, INR and other coagulation profile.
Depending on the report, I would treat you.
Right now, no Empirical treatment is needed.
You can wait and watch. If the bruising increases in size or if it appears any where else, then please consult with your doctor.
Hope my answers have helped you. Thanks.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for your follow up query.
Can be because of aspirin.
I woukd suggest you to Kindly stop it for 3 to 5 days
once the bruise fades, then you can start it.
If I were your treating doctor, I would have advised for coagulation profile , just to access the bleeding status.
