What Causes Bruising On Skin After Injecting Trimix?

Question: I injected trimix for the second time in 4 days it left half dollar sized bruise should i seek medical attention.

Hi,

You most likely injured a vessel during injection leading to this bruising. Since it is a highly vascular area, it bled into the skin giving rise to this bruise. As long as this bruise doesn't spread more, it will not concern me.

I understand it looks scary. But if the bruise is not spreading you can wait to see a doctor.

Do you know approximatly how long the bruise should take to heal.
I also have an appointment with a urologist next thursday should I wait to see him since the bruise has not increased in size

It is hard to guess how long before it heals, but I would say most of it should be resolved in a week's time.

Pain and increasing bruise are couple of things you should attend to promptly in the next few days. Consult your doctor as per the appointment. Until then please abstain from sexual activity.
