Brief Answer:
Bubbles in urine in healthy person has no pathological significance .

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for query .

You have noticed bubbles on the surface of urine since very recently .

I shall be happy if you can post me more details to help me in making precise comments
1) Are you diabetic ?
2) Does your urine has a bad smell ?
3) Do you have any other urinary symptoms ?
4) Is your urine turbid or clear ?

Bubbles in urine in a normal healthy person has no pathological significance neither it indicates any major health issue .

However it could be due to dehydration and is common in diabetic patents or when one has UTI .

Get your routine urine test and urine culture done to rule out infection .It would help to rule out infection and to decide about taking antibiotic if required

Drinking more water should help to resolve the issue .

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.

Thank you for your reply.
I am mostly concerned because I had a heart catheterization two months ago and am now on two bp meds, Lipitor, and Brilinta blood thinner plus Tamsulosin, saw palmetto and cranberry for my prostate. Would any of these contribute to the situation. My psa is about 4.
I am not diabetic and the urine does not have a strong odor and is clear except for the film that forms on the toilet water surface.
I have had bladder stones once three years ago. I do have to urinate 3-4 times during the night and after sitting for a long time.

There is nothing to be worried .

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for follow up .

Medicines that have been prescribed for Enlarged Prostate or hypertension will not cause bubbles in urine .

As explained earlier it has little significance and not to be worried for .

Get routine urine test done to rule out infection .
