What Causes Bulging Disk In Your Neck?
Question: I've recently experienced very brief bulging in my right neck. Seems like it could be a vein but it's very transitory. Not associated with straining or exercising. I have Type 2, hernia at L 5 - 6 and bulging disc at C4-5 and high cholesterol. I take tramadol, gabapentin; metformin; and atorvastatin. My blood pressure is on the lower side and the high cholesterol is under control.
Brief Answer:
May be a muscular
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query, albeit short and specific.
Noted all the history and understood your concerns about a transitory brief bulge on the right side of the neck.
With the history you have provided, this could then be due to muscle enlargement or edema or so as this alone can be a transitory.
Vein will always increase/enlarge with straining or exercising.
Lymph node or any such lumps can not regress so fast.
I hope this answers your query.
Please feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you feel that there is a gap of communication.
