Posted on Mon, 10 Aug 2015
Question: Hello, I have just noticed this bump between my toes on my left foot between 2nd and 3rd toe. It has been there a couple days and it hurts to touch. I work as an PCA fulltime so I'm on my feet most of the day. just wondering what it is exactly or if I should get it checked out more before it becomes worse. Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Probably pyogenic granuloma

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.
This looks to me like pyogenic granuloma and this is local infection of skin and subcutaneous tissue that usually happens after unnoticed bite, injury or scratch. It is not something serious and it usually grow very slowly so this is not an emergency but this is located in very sensitive area and I suggest to visit a surgeon which can remove it in local anasthesia. Wish you good health. Regards
