What Causes Bump Near Upper Lip?

Question: A bump appeared near my upper lip...i dont notice it until i lick me lips....no one else notices it either.....its near the crack between my lips....its only one....what is it and how so i get rid of it.

-Apply steroid based Ointment on lips in case of irritated hair follicle .
- Dont suck your lip .
- Drink plenty of water .
- Apply ice pack on lips as it will increase blood flow of lips and reduce chapping .
- If bump is due to viral infection topical antiviral therapy can help in preventing further more outbreaks .
I recommend you to consult Dermatologist for clinical examination and get evaluation done .
