What Causes Bump On The Left Clitoral Hood?
Question: Hello!
Two days ago I discovered a bump on the left (my left) of my clitoral hood, it wasn't bad to begin with but it got bigger and red and hurt (it looked a bit like a pimple). Today it popped and yellow puss and blood came out. I squeezed most of the puss out. My hood is still pretty swollen.
What is your take on this?

can be bacterial infection.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
i can understand your concerns.
The reason for your bump can be bacterial infection.
Can you upload a picture of the area so that i can get a better idea?
Are you diabetic?
Do you have any other medical problems?
Any white discharge from vagina?
For the time being you can apply clotrimazole cream to the area.

I do not believe I am diabetic, although I have not been checked.
No other medical problems other than Scoliosis.
No white discharge.
This is current, after it popped, I do not have a before picture.

Brief Answer:
Apply creams as told
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX XXXXXXX
It looks like a bacterial infection. If you are a virgin as you say then its definitely not a STD.
I will advise you to apply clotrimazole cream and fusidic cream alteratively in the area.
Keep the area clean with soap water and dry at all times.
Do not wear thongs or bikinis. Wear cotton underwear.
It will heal over 5-6 days time.
