What Causes Bumps At The Anus?

Question: I have bumps on the "out side" (you can only see if if i push) of my anus. They are dark purple or brown i cant really tell. They arent painful but they do itch and if i touch them they feel funny. Ive also had no bleeding. Im confused if they are anal warts or hemrroids
Brief Answer:
could be skin tags
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HealthcareMagic.
Do you have a history of constipation or passing hard stools, or burning pain while passing stools in the past?
If yes, then those bumps could be skin tags following a healed anal fissure. And nothing needs to be done about them as they are harmless.
Else they could be external haemorrhoids. And to confirm you need to show to a surgeon for a clinical examination.
Hope I have been helpful.
