Question: hey my penis is burning and I went to the emergency room yesterday and off and on for months about this but they say it's nothing not even a std what should I do are uti sometime undetectable

I understand your query and concern.

Yes probably you seem to have a possible urinary tract infection/uti, un diagnosed.


To detect the cause,I advise you to have have complete urine examination along with culture and sensitivity of the urine.

This should be aided by a complete ultrasound of the K U B system-Kidney,ureter and bladder.

Further management depends on the test results.

Meanwhile empirical antibiotic therapy with Norfloxacin 400 mg twice a day for 5 days will help to control the infection.

Please note the above drug has to be taken under your doctor's supervision.
