What Causes Burning Sensation And Blood In Urine?

Question: a couple weeks ago i had burning while urinating and blood in my urine occassionally, i went to urgent care and they prescribed me cipro to treat a UTI. i took all of the antibiotics and i still feel discomfort. it is no longer burning or bleeding while urinating, however, i have some yellow discharge and it feels a bit swollen.

Related your concern you should know that some factors like antibiotics, birth control pills, STI, vaginal yeast could cause change in the vagina's balance of normal bacteria and can affect the smell, color, or discharge texture.

So, based on your history I think that your symptoms (yellow discharge, feel swollen)) could be as a result of using antibiotic and birth control pills but I suggest as well to do urine test, discharge culture, and some STI tests (in order to exclude a vaginal yeast and STI).
