Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for your query.
I shall make an effort to provide you with good professional recommendations specific to your questions.
Slight blood in the mucous, is OK and most of the time it is from throat, and nothing serious. I would have suggested you not to worry, as stress is one of the cause for increasing acidity.
I would suggest you not to eat any spicy food for few days, go for bland diet. Avoid smoking, alcohol and coffee and tea. Sleeping for at least 7 to 8 hours in night will be beneficial.
I would have treated you with over the counter antacid taken one hour after meal and Acid reducing agents like which you are taking, taken before food, will be helpful. Initially take 20 mg once daily before meal and if symptoms persists can increase the dose to 40 mg. You should be fine with this.
If the burning intensifies or increase in quantity of blood in mucous it is better to get examined by three doctor.
Yet , again I duly appreciate your query to me, I do hope that have found something useful to help you and I shall be glad to answer any further apprehensions.
Sincerely,
