Question: Hi,
My wife has been using Candid CL tablet since two days. Today, she was not able to insert the tablet. So, she tried to insert it by force. The tablet suddenly popped and the white content inside the tablet has leaked on her vaginal area. Now, she has a severe burning sensation. Please suggest on this.

Thanks!

Brief Answer:
Let her wash the area with cold water.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for posting your query.

Please make sure that the leaked medication is completely washed out from the vulval region by using fresh cold water. This should ease out the burning sensation. Allow the region to dry and do not use any soap solution or strong antiseptics solutions. If needed, soothing creams may be used. Cold compress can also help to ease out the burning sensation. If nothing helps, please let her see a specialist for further management.

Hope your query has been answered. Please feel free to contact for further clarifications. I will be happy to help.

regards,
Shanti.V.
