Question: Hi, I am having burning sensation in the bottom part of my feet. Say about for the last three months. Clinical tests dated 29 May 2014 shows my blood sugar fasting (124) and PP (150). Total cholesterol 232. LDL (132) triglycerides (132). Others are with in range. In the morning when I get up I feel back pain more particularly in my shoulders. When I turn around my neck sideways I sense tik-tik in my neck. Recently for the last one month there is numbness in my bottom part of both feet. Please suggest me remedies. I am male and my age is 65 years.

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for the query

I am Dr. Alok and very pleased to be assisting you with your health questions today.

With your history it seems that you have diabetes related neuropathy and hyperlipidemia. Back and shoulder pain is may be due to muscle spasm or early osteoarthritis. numbness in your feet is also a part of diabetic neuropathy

You need to control your diabetes and your cholesterol level and you need to do exercise for pain.

Hope this helps and provides answers to your question.

I wish you good health, take care

Hi,

I went through the reports and at this point of time will suggest you only exercise and lipid lowering drugs. You need to discuss your physician, probably Atocor-F once daily
