What Causes Burning Sensation During Urination After Intercourse?

Question: after sexual intercourse sometimes when I go pee right after it burns really bad why is that?

I took a UTI over the counter test since I don't have my appointment with the doctor for a couple of days from today and it came out positive for nitrite and leukocytes but I was just wondering is the UTI caused by bacteria or could it involve an STD? im just worried I might have an STD
