What Causes Burning Sensation During Urination And Itching In Rectum?
I think ive had a UTI infection these last 2 weeks, as ive had the burning/stinging sensation when urinating. itchy rectum. back and abdominal pain.
But this morning I have woke up and it doesn't feel bad at all now when I urinate, very mild like it is clearing up.
But I do feel really tired and low energy.
Do you think it is leaving the body now?
I havnt used any antibotics.
I just drink water.
thanks
Possibly not a UTI
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for using Healthcare Magic. From the information you have provided, if you did have an infection, it is subsiding. This could have been helped by drinking plenty of water. This is not the usual course of a UTI but if you are not experiencing the initial symptoms, I suggest you do not need antibiotics.
The tiredness you fell may be related to an infection but it would be impossible to be certain.
I suggest waiting a couple of days. Continue to drink plenty of water. If your symptoms return then see your doctor as you would need investigation of your urine for an infection and possibly antibiotics.
If you continue to feel tired then perhaps you should be checked for anaemia.
I hope this is of help. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

thank you for your help :)
If it was getting worse, for e.g travelling into my kidneys as my back does hurt and abdominal was bloated, would the burning/stinging/itching still be present or would they leave and it just effect kidneys?
or you think infection is just leaving without effecting kidneys?
thank you
Most unlikely that you have an infection.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for the further query. If you had an infection in your kidneys, you would most likely feel quite ill. This would include fever, chills, weakness and perhaps nausea.
I get the impression that you are not feeling like this. Therefore, although I can't say for sure whether you had an infection, you seem to be generally improving so I suggest you do not need any treatment such as antibiotics. It is most unlikely that you have a kidney infection.
I hope this helps you.
