Brief Answer:
Please give details.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thank for your query.
To recapitulate: Female/66 - visited a Doctor (opinion not mentioned) - anus burns after every bowel movement - cleans with baby wipes - uses Witch XXXXXXX to sooth and helps a little - knows what fissure is and this is not it.

Please give additional information for me to understand and assist you better:
- Since when have you got this problem?
- Any problem with the stools like loose or with mucus?
- Any medical problems like diabetes or so?

The commonest reason for burning of the anus after bowel movement, if it is not a fissure is:
- Per-anal excoriation. This in turn is due to the following reasons:
Intestinal infection transmitted to the peri-anal skin.
Integrity of the skin reduced due to multivitamin deficiency.
- Thread-worm infestation predisposing for itching and burning on passing a motion.
- Excessive sweating, exposure to hot and humid atmosphere, tight clothing.
- Fugal infection, although very rare at this site.

The treatment will depend upon the cause.
Please give feedback.
