What Causes Burning Sensation In My Penis Inspite Of Having Unprotected Sex?
Question: Had unprotected sex with my girlfriend in january this year, she confessed to having unprotected sex before we did with someone who has multiple partners and possibly syphillis. Recently i have started having burning sensation in my penis with ocassional left testticular pain. Also missing on my morning erections. She has got tested for clamydia which came negative, she had burning sensation during urination too which prompted her to get checked. The frequency of my burning sensation is less compared to the last few days.
23 years old, type 1 diabetic. And i dont have multiple sexual partners. Plus am uncircumcised if that helps.
Brief Answer:
urinary tract infection
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for consulting HealthcareMagic!
The symptoms you have described most commonly hint towards presence of urinary tract infection and NOT specifically regarding STDs. Anyhow, the medical history you given, requires you and your girlfriend to get screened for different kind of STDs based on physical examination finding. But, just based on these symptoms we cannot suspect any particular type of STD. Circumcision is not related in this.
Hope I have answered your query.

Can this infection lead to having erection problems too? I have never had this problem before. Both of the burning sensation or having erection problems
Brief Answer:
No, not related
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
No, this kind of infection does not cause any erection problems. I personally think that it may be due to some other reason like anxiety or stress thinking about health (infection). However, a Physical examination is mandatory to assess this since there are variety of other causes that needs to be ruled out.
Take Care!
