What Causes Burning Sensation In Palms And Soles Of Feet?

Question: Hi, my palms and feet sole are feeling mild burning and hot kind of feeling. This is not happening every day but once in 2-3 days and stays for 4-5 hours and goes away. Recently it started becoming little needle pain at the center of my left palm. I just had my Random blood sugar test few weeks ago and it was normal? What could be the reason for the problem?

Hello,
I have studied your case. I think you are having neuropathy This is common due to following reasons.
1. Vitamin B 12 deficiency
2. Thyroid
3. Diabetes
4.smoker and alcohol
5.nerve compression in spine
I would recommend you to meet a neurophyscian and get your proper evaluation. If there is problem then treatment can be done accordinhky. Meanwhile for symptomatic relief take pregabalin and methyl cobal tablet daily.

Thank you for detailed reply. I had viral gastritis very recently and currently taking medicine. Could this be due to it?

Hello,
infection in stomach can cause nutritional deficiency and some time produce these symptoms. These can also be due to weakness. So I would recommend you to take plenty of fruit juice and vitamin B 12.
