What Causes Burning Sensation In Penis?

I suggest a urine routine microscopy to look for pus cells
Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us at healthcaremagic
I have gone through your query and I have understood it.
The only STD's that can present with urethral discharge and burning sensation is either Gonorrhea or Non-Gonococcal Urethritis/ NGU (Chlamydia). However, unprotected Oral sex is not a common route for acquiring either of these.
In Gonorrhea the discharge is frankly purulent and there is lot of burning sensation on passing urine; it is unlikely that gonorrhea would remain active for so long, therefore I rule it out as a possibility in your case.
In case of non-gonococcal urethritis/NGU (Chlamydia), the discharge is clear or transparent.
After going through your query I can keep a possibility of persistent Non Gonococcal Urtheritis/ NGU in you.
However, I suggest you to undergo a urine routine microscopy test from first void urine sample in morning, to look for presence of pus cells.
If this test reveals > 10 pus cells per high power field (HPF) it would be fair to treat for NGU, by Oral Doxycycline twice daily for 7 days.

I did urine test recently with no issues highlighted by the doctor. Do I still need to consider that as a potential STD?
Not an STD
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Ok, If the recent urine test is normal then I think you don't need to worry about an STD.
It is very unlikely though that even NGU would present or persist years after a risky sexual encounter.

Chlamydia trachomatis PCR
Neisseria gonorrhoeae PCR
Given that I have no other symptoms accept slight discharge occassionally I will accept this as normal.
Your reports are fine
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Slight off and on burning sensation can also be due to concentrated urine.
Bulbourethral glands may produce some amount of sticky transparent secretion during sexual arousal which is absolutely normal and can be mistaken as urethral discharge. This may cause some staining on undergarments.
