Can you relate to any of the medicines you are taking?
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for being in follow-up and providing further details.
In view of the clinical details, the likely causes can be-
1)Undercorrection of Thyroid hormones- Hypothyroidism commonly results in burning feet. So,you need to check upon with the latest Thyroid function tests, whether correction is fine or not.
2)Medicines-Can you relate your burning feet to any of the drugs( Losartan, sertraline, ambient and lorazepam) you are scheduled on?In other words, did the onset of symptoms coincide with yourself starting on any of the above medicines? In that case, that particular medicine may be having a causative role.
I shall be glad to have you in follow-up in case of further queries.
Regards
Dr.Ajay Panwar,
MD,DM(Neurology)
