What Causes Burning Sensation In Stomach?

Question: I feel burning sensation in my stomach ... this happens mostly when I sit for long hours 2-3 hours. Around a year back I was diagnosed with H-pylori. I underwent triple therapy. After that situation has not improved much. When I get up in morning I feel good, however as day passes the situation worsens and I feel burning sensation in my stomach. I am planning to consult some GI again.

Hi,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.

Your symptoms are not necessarily related to H.pylori.

Another possible cause might be :
- gastritis
- cholecyst issues.

I need to know if you have run any otherwise tests like upper endoscopy or abdominal ultrasound.

For the moment, I advise to :
- take PPIs
- take antispasmodic druga
- run above mentioned tests
