What Causes Burning Sensation In Testicles After Protected Sex?
Thrush cured
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns
You had protected sex and several days later noticed itching and redness in your testicle area. You saw your provider and all your STD checks were negative but you were diagnosed with candida yeast infection. The treatment has not helped with the itching. You now have"Japs eyes". I am not sure what you mean by "japs eyes" please clarify your description. It is not unusual to continue to have itching following treatment for yeast but other STDs can still be transmitted like pubic lice or scabies. I would recommend seeing a skin specialist to review your case and examine you for pubic lice and scabies which can be easily missed by your primary care physician
I hope I answered your question. Please get back to me with the additional information on japs eyes.
Redness from Canestan
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for clarifying your question. The redness is probably from the cansetan. So this should resolve soon. The feeling like there is an ingrown hair is unusual. But if you do not see any blistering then you can be reassured that you do not have herpes. In your set of blood work did they do a herpes screen? If they did and it is negative that completely reassures me that you do not have herpes as these tests are very sensitive for screening Herpes.
Let me reassure you that you do not have any STD at this time. The scrotal redness may be residual yeast infection in the tesicle area. For that I recommend using jock itch spray like lamisil. It is found in the athlete's foot area of the pharmacy but you can use the spray in the genital area as well.
I hope I answered your question. Please contact us again if you have any further questions
Stop the canestan
Detailed Answer:
To be honest yes this could all be in your head and you anxiety is getting the better of you.
You could return to your doctor and have them swab the area but if there is no blister or open area the test will be negative. I would ask your provider if they did the herpes testing and if not then please get it done.
The redness is definitely from using the canestan too much, You are getting a hypersensitivity reaction to the cream. Please stop and let things settle down.
