What Causes Burning Sensation In The Anus During The Bowel Movement?
Question: I am having burning sensation in the anus during the bowel moment which gradually decreases after bowel. This is for the past 2 weeks. Pls advice.
Brief Answer:
it could be anal fissure
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
It seems like there could be anal fissure which is causing the burning sensation in the anus during the bowel movement which gradually decreases thereon.
I would suggest you to use Anovate cream locally around the anus 20 minutes before passing the stool. It would help you to relieve the symptoms. The cream is available over the counter.
I would also suggest you to take high fiber diet with fruits and vegetables. Take plenty of fluids orally as well.
If your symptoms do not subside with this in a week's time, it is better to consult a General surgeon for rectal examination.
Get well soon.
